Found this glitter graphic at blingcheese.com and it attracted my attention, so i decided to post it. Heehee.

Anyway, im back to blog! Today is the 1st of january 2008. Isn't it fast? I've been staying home for about 2 whole weeks! Can you imagine? I always seems to be hanging outside, even if i don't have any extra pocket money. Thinking back, many things happened back then... Let me update them now...
20th December 2007
I remembered i met dear for dinner that very night. I waited for him under my block, as he drove his uncle's family car to fetch me with his mum to the west for our meals. Before that, he went shopping with his mum, so he dressed up nicer than the usual days. Then, his aunt and cousin joined us. After we filled our stomach, he drove them back and parked his uncle's car back to the apartment carpark. Then, brought me out by his bike. We went Mustafa. The street there was still filled with lots of people in the midnight, most of them are malays. 'Cause i almost forget that it was Hari Raya Haji, that's the reason. Anyway, we don't even care at all. Both of us were playing around happily, laughing like nobody business through our way, everything goes on smoothly. He bought a mini torchlight for himself. After which we headed to East Coast Park to enjoy the sea breeze. It was late but we met each other for not up to five hours yet. So prefered to stay up a little longer for a chill... Dear bought me a drink - Sauvignos Blanc, one of the red wine from French if im not wrong. We sitted down and have a nice chat. Soon, he's going to send me home. But, i didn't manage to reach home, something bad and unexpected happened to us on the way...

21st December 2007
...the time was 2am plus, reaching three soon. I was on the bike with dear. As the road he was travelling on was a straight and long one, so he tends to go faster. I never expect anything would happen. I was sitting at the back, holding him and going to fall aslp behind him, with my eyes half opened. I knew he went faster then. I would usually tap or rub his back anxiously whenever he go too fast (a way to let him slower down his speed), but i didn't react at that point of time. 'Cause i was tired and slpy, at the same time, telling myself to trust him this time round. But still, worried i will still felt. I raised my head higher to take a look infront with my half opened eyes, oh my god! There's a turn right ahead, he's still moving straight!!
"Bang!!!"
Before i opened my eyes, i felt a huge impact of myself falling off, my skin dragged on the ground, a sudden pain all surrounding me. I don't know how to describe this, a dream or a nightmare? A lesson or a chance? To just decide on my life and death within a second. It all happened so fast, just a second and that's it. I knew im still alive once i opened my eyes, found myself kneeling down on the open road, reluctantly, not many vehicles would pass by (the road near Carpark H). I dared not look at my injuries at all, keep yelling out the pain i felt. Then, i heard dear asking me, "Are you okay?", I then remembered that im not alone, i looked around to keep search of him, and realised he has landed on the grass patch. I felt much relieved after i heard from him and found that we are still alive and fine, but injured.
The greatest thing is to know that you and your love ones are still alive after a bike accident... We counted ourselves lucky for only getting those abrasions, stitches, without bone fractures or anything else more serious than that. Even though getting those injuries can already be real suffering. We were then admitted to Changi General Hospital, with the help of a few young malays from a passing-by car. They were really very friendly and helpful. Dear still have the energy to chat with them while waiting for the ambulance, they even made friends and exchange contacts! Haha! That surprised me. For me, i was sitting beside dear quietly, feeling cold and looking pale, enduring the kind of pain which i felt for the first time! I could see blood all over our limps and on the road, too. Eww, real bloody and disgusting. Can't even imagine those are ours? Yucks, GROSS.
The turn.

The bike landed under a tree.

Aunty (dear's mum) came down too. She looked calm, but somehow i knew she was very worried for dear. Dear's condition was more serious than me. He need to stay in the hospital while i need not. I had abrasions for all limps except my right hand, and a 2cm stitch at my left foot. Dear had abrasions for all his limps and an operation for his left kneecap. After cleaning up my wounds, i then called home to let my parents know abt this accident. I was so afraid that they will yell at me. But, they did not. My dad came then. He saw me coming out of the operation room (after having my foot stitched), wheeling myself towards him, he kept quiet instead of scolding me. It was around 7am, near eight. Before i leave the hospital with my dad, i went to see dear. Suddenly i find him so strong, so charming, so lovely infront of me even though he was injured. I felt so fortunate to be able to look at him that way, again. He told me he wanted to protect me, so he hurt himself more badly. I was so touched. He apologised to my dad in a very well mannered and polite way, my dad did not get angry with him yet started to care for him as well, asking how was he feeling, how were his injuries... Afterall, i was much relieved, and headed home. I knew i won't be seeing him again until the both of us have recovered. I shall miss him more than anything...
I think this is a dream, a nightmare, a lesson and a chance for me and you. A dream and a chance to live, a nightmare and a lesson for us to learn. This experience allows me to learn to treasure our life, enjoy every parts and parcels of life, 'cause we are each given a life for a reason. Without life, our world will become black and white without colours.
Life is precious, live life to the FULLEST! :)))
Get well soon.
Love you, joey.
